Our Story

A Brief History Of Our Journey

Mr Harish C Seedhar and Mr Dhanish Seedhar started learning Taekwon-Do in the summer of 2000 at Ealing Taekwon-Do, under Mr J Khera 5th Degree Black Belt, at the time. We attained out 1st Degree Black Belts here before departing at the end of 2011.

In 2012 Mr Harish C Seedhar and Mr Dhanish Seedhar became students under Sahotas Taekwon-Do Schools, learning from Master T Sahota at their Luton club (previously Dunstable).

In November of 2013 Mr Harish C Seedhar and Mr Dhanish Seedhar attained their 2nd Dan Black Belts from the UKGT (United Kingdom Global Taekwon-Do) Taekwondo-Do association. The same year Mr Dhanish Seedhar started his own Taekwon-Do club at the Harrow Martial Arts Centre, Rayners Lane. Teaching Taekwon-Do every Saturday afternoon for about 18 months.

A New Chapter

Seedhars Taekwon-Do Schools was founded in November 2014 by Mr Harish C Seedhar 4th Degree Black Belt and Mr Dhanish Seedhar 4th Degree Black Belt.

Started our first two after school clubs in Edgware and Barkingside in November 2014. From there we quickly grew, every six months opening a new after school club and evening club.

Mr Dhanish Seedhar 4th Degree Black Belt teaches Taekwon-Do in 7 locations across NW London and East London respectively, five of which are exclusively after school clubs.

National & International Competitions

In 2013 Mr Dhanish Seedhar competed at his first UKGT National Championships in Moulton, Northampton in Patterns, Sparring, Power and Special technique. Mr Harish C Seedhar was an Official and we both continued to compete/officiate every year thereafter. Mr Dhanish Seedhar has won multiple medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze) in both Patterns and Sparring.

In 2013 Mr Dhanish Seedhar competed at the World Championships in Hertfordshire University in Patterns, Sparring, Power and Special technique. Mr Harish C Seedhar was an Official.

In 2015 Mr Dhanish Seedhar competed again at the World Championships in Hertfordshire University in Patterns, Sparring, Power and Special technique. Mr Harish C Seedhar was an Official and was awarded a medal for Officiating.

In 2016 Mr Dhanish Seedhar competed at the European Championships with the UKGT squad in Warsaw, Poland in Patterns, Sparring, Power and Special technique. Mr Harish C Seedhar was an Official. Mr Dhanish Seedhar got 4th place in Patterns.

UKGT Courses

Mr Dhanish Seedhar has completed a National Level Instructors Course in November 2012 from the UKGT and has completed refresher courses thereafter.

Mr Harish C Seedhar and Mr Dhanish Seedhar are both qualified Officials, able to judge Patterns and Sparring, and Mr Dhanish Seedhar is qualified Centre Referee.

Mr Dhanish Seedhar first UKGT Summer Course was in 2015 and has since attended every year (minus 2020-2022 due to the pandemic).
